Why Numerex?
After working in the accounting and finance industry for over 25 years, I have seen the importance of helping small business owners become independent and confident in running their books.
Bookkeepers and accountants are often seen as the gatekeepers of your business's financial information. This ends up in a cycle where you need to go to them regularly to get the latest numbers on your business and their help to interpret those numbers. This is not a practical or efficient process, especially if you are time-bound, like applying for a business loan.
I have spent my entire career with thousands of clients helping them to understand how to improve this process - they want to run the books themselves, enter items correctly the first time around, understand what the numbers mean on all those confusing reports and keep bookkeeping and accounting costs to a minimum.
The ultimate goal is to understand and manage cash flow better, so they can make good decisions for their business and not lose sleep at night worrying about what tomorrow looks like.

To do this, you need a qualified professional with strong knowledge in software and training, and a qualified accountant with years of experience in helping small businesses and not-for-profit organisations.
I've had my fair share of seeing the aftermath of accountants, bookkeepers and self-crowned 'expert consultants' try to spruk that they can do this. The reality is, it's hard to find someone or a team of someones that can do this. It's almost always a minor add-on in accounting or bookkeeping firms where someone is tapped on the shoulder to provide 'training' or you are passed around a team of single-area specialists staff that don't always work together seamlessly.

I founded Numerex to help you run the books yourself or work better with your accountant and bookkeeper.
Our motto is simple to help you: Account it once. Account it right.
